Barjonas

Recommended Posts

Barjonas and Wilson can make it with us.

Wilson is strong, physical, two footed, dominant in the air, good decision making with tackles as quite a lot of the time he just gets tight and lets the opposition do the work knowing he's strong enough to make it impossible for them.

Barjonas technically brilliant, quick with his feet. Really intelligent and aware of his surroundings, always knows where he is passing to before he even gets the ball as he is always looking around to see where his team mates are.

Beerman and Bates are decent but I think the other 2 mentioned are far, far more promising.

Agree that he looks promising and hopefully has a future with us but we need better players around him. Our problem recently is that every player that shows some potential has huge pressure placed on them. When Barry Ferguson came through he was in a team with international players so he could not only learn but have some pressure taken off him. If we are expecting Barjonas to start single handedly winning matching it isn't going to happen with our current squad.

Just seen a few people getting worked up on Twitter cause they seen a Tweet from Barjonas showing support for independence

Not sure why it'd bother anyone if he's a good player and wants to play with us.

I knew a lot of impressionable kids who got sucked into the nats trap.

Quite a few have seen sense now though.

Wouldn't hold it against the lad if he performs well for us.

I liked him when he came on in the sheep game, other players were being easily pushed off the ball, but when he was challenge it was the other guy who came off 2nd best. He showed again today that he is strong on the ball and in the tackle. He has the attitude of " fuck off, that ball is mine",  something that a lot of the older players do not possess.

Certainly looks very promising.

One of the few positives from the last couple of games has been Pedro's willingness to give the youngsters a chance.  It will be helpful to be able to rely on a couple of you younger guys from the Acadmey to help fill up the squad so we can offload some off the unwanted players who will be on much higher wages
