So no way was the deal 'done and dusted' weeks ago, if it was they would have announced it then and released a new kit, or at least submitted another kit to UEFA last week, but as King himself says they didn't because the deal wasn't agreed until this morning. It is pretty easy to make a prediction about something when both King and Robertson have said in the last 3 months they were hoping to have something in place for the new season, it was obvious he meant a new deal with Sports Direct, doubt anybody believed they were just going to walk away. Barca-Bear 3 Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Both UEFA and SPFL rules state that kit designs that are submitted for the season can't be changed throughout the season, second and third strips can be released later though and King said in his press conference that they are working with PUMA to release these in the next couple of months.
