What a line "the focus, the attitude and commitment is non negotiable. Mistakes are part of the human condition".

I want Pedro to succeed so much the guy just oozes class.

It's a pity the the football doesn't ooze class because thats where it matters.

Of course...he could just talk shite until he gets the football right.

He can talk all the shite he wants, classy or not, but on the pitch its tedious football played in part by tedious footballers and tedious lineups, pure and simple.

Don't see that he talks any shite. Makes perfect sense most of the time IMO, including in this interview.

As for the football, it's effectively game one of the development of his team. Impossible to draw any conclusions on his ability just now. The team should transition over the next couple of months, getting rid of the last year's guff, then we'll see what he's made of...

The part-time opposition we just played, ended their season at the same time as us, had made more squad changes & were playing away in front of 50k fans live on TV.  I can draw some conclusions from that game & they are not good.

Same kind of conclusions you could draw about the Lincoln Red Imps and sellic last year?

At their level making changes to stay an organised couple of banks at the back is easier than making changes to create a functional attacking team (that's probably about 5 or 6 players off its likely starting lineup).

Also, at times you could see Pedro bawling at the players because they're still not doing what they're being asked to. The biggest one being where he screamed and was hugely animated towards Ryan Jack when he broke up an attack and instead of going for a quick transition to catch Progres committed forward he played the easy ball and let Progres reform. That kind of thing also suggests a work in.... er, progress.

People like this are poison at our club.

Several players making their debut. It's like starting a new job and doing a show in front of a vast audience after a few practice sessions.

Expecting miracles and free flowing action.

Don't bother coming back if you are going to moan like fuck after one match.

I think many people are happy how Pedro is going about his business. He isn't taking shit from the players with attitude problems and he is signing what looks like decent players from abroad and in Scotland.

People like you need to grow up and have patience. No club in the world is 100% on it the first game of the season.
