Prima Donnas wanting to be noticed wearing those awful green boots. Thank goodness for a manager who is not afraid to say what he means. I was happy to see the keeper was not wearing that almost green top too on Thursday.

PEDRO CAIXINHA has banned Rangers players from wearing green boots.

The Ibrox gaffer says it is because they are “the colour of Celtic”.

Caixinha has issued every player with rules of conduct for the season, which includes the green boot ban.

Caixinha revealed the directive in an interview with a Portuguese newspaper.

When asked if the green ban was because it clashed with the grass, he said: “It is the colour of Celtic.

“From today, no one will wear boots of that colour.”

Fans were furious when winger Barrie McKay turned out in green boots.

Uefa confirmed they had opened disciplinary proceedings against Rangers after fans threw paper on to the park in the Europa League win against Progres Niederkorn.

That just about sums up McKay!

Never did like any of our own wearing green.

Cheerio Barrie and don't come fucking back.

Jordan Rossiter likes this.

love how he looks like a player from the wrong era of football, shirt tucked in Socks at a normal length black boots and an ordinary haircut.

Were we furious when MacKay wore green? Don't remember this.

And why the reference to UEFA opening proceedings?

Bugger all relevance to this particular story.
