We could afford an Allardyce or Redknapp imo, we spunked 1.4 on the current dud and the one before him. If we knew we were going to spend north of £8 million, why did it not cross the mind of the board to take £1 mill out of that, add it to the 800k were giving Pedro and go for a top manager? cellic got Brenda for £2 million... 

Redknapp would have took it, he worked for nothing at Derby until they were guaranteed the play offs and Birmingham until he got them safe.

An unproven Rodgers lost against a part-time team from Griblatar during his first competitive match at Celtic.  He had a championship winning squad and had just added a £4m player to the team.  They went on to win a treble.  Is that kinda irrelevant as well?  It doesn't suit the agenda of the Pedro oot brigade so I guess it must be.

Pedro will stay and lead us in to the new season regardless of the shite spouted on here.  Let's get behind him and hope he turns out to be a great Rangers manager.  If it goes wrong he'll be gone soon enough and we'll be thrown back in to chaos.

They still went through.

Rodgers nearly won the PL (Gerrard slip lol). Got Swansea promoted - I think. Hardly unproven.
