Candeias Free Kick in Training

Recommended Posts

Why have they chosen to show us that in a clip? The angle is terrible so we can't really see the flight of the ball and how it went in.

it might be showing us how bad Jak performed for all we know

Anyhoo, hope it does mean he has a good freekick on him. Shame we didn't see it a few weeks ago.

Bruno smashes a great freekick

***Tav can be Dangerous

Krancjar is decent and now this lad.

Not been this dangerous from a set piece since Stevie Smith

Mind in the championship Tav looked like a dead ball specialist? Sweet right foot he had.

It's understandable that he found it tougher in open play in the prem but why has he lost the dead ball ability as well? ***

Tav is no longer dangerous, FHF. I wish he was.

And agree with Brazz. He not only lost his free kick / dead ball ability  but also his ability to hit a cross higher than knee height from the wing.

Free kicks hit the wall or row Z.

I am one of the (few??) that like Tav, albeit I have called for his head a few times. I wouldnt mind him staying.

But I hope he isnt our 1st 2nd or 3rd choice free kick taker this season.

Aluko (traitor cunt) is our most prolific from freekicks I can think of in recent times, because he did one simple thing - he got the ball on target. Too often players are trying to get it right in the postage stamp and more often than not missing the target by a good 5 metres. The standard of keepers is shite here, if you get it on target there's a good chance it's going in.

Aye Tav's free kicks caused a lot of threat lst year.

Mostly to fans high up in the stands.

Fuck all else to offer up given the lack of games after embarrassing themselves? Hope they keep it handy though, just in case it's needed for the Player of the Year Awards do.

Greater pressure. Mentally he crumbled. And we didn't get as many free kicks within the 35 yard shooting range. Dead balls are such an important aspect of the game. Quite often they can be match winners.
