Yeah resting a near 36 year old at home to a Championship side after having no break in the summer makes no sense at all especially as he will be playing 3 games in 6 days.

Let's just rest him later in the season in important league matches!

Don't see the problem.

I'm assuming Big Bruno probably has a say in the matter to be honest. I'd imagine that he'll be wanting to get game time under his belt and form a understanding with his defense, so that they are in better shape for the bigger games.

Hopefully bags a 30yrd free kick.

So Morelos (the Buffalo) gets a starting slot with Hererra still recovering from his bruising injuries sustained against Motherwell.    I hope the buffalo can produce the goal-scoring goods tonight for if not then its only one striker (Hardie) on the bench and as far as I know he's had no first team pre-season experience.   We are thin on strikers.   Even thinner on strikers that get plenty of goals.   It's up to Morelos to take his chances, and up to Miller to provide the right sort of leadership on the pitch to help the Buffalo to score.

Pedro seems to have handed quite a bit of responsibility to Morelos.   But then its been his choice so far to run with only 3 strikers who've had game time and with Dodoo and Hardie having been so far in the background so far as to be nearly invisible.

If I was Pedro I'd be playing my strongest fit 11 every game right now.

This team have still got to gel and still got a lot to prove after the Europa fiasco. We're a better team than we were last season, but we're not world beaters - IMO whenever we underestimate opposition (oh we can rest players for this one) we're asking for trouble
