Windass has been that player recently but he was absent today.

He was atrocious today. Back to his normal self. We need better than Windass if we're going to improve

I don't think he'll ever be good enough for us, he often makes the wrong decision especially when there's an opening.

Yes.   Remember last season in one of the early OF games where Windass admitted after the game that he didn't turn up.    Leopard - spots.    Doing a Barrie McKay and showing up in the odd game and hoping that is enough to coast through some other games for a bit is not the sort of player we need.    Pity Pedro doesn't see that.  Picking Windass to start a game is a blind bet.  You just don't know what you are going to get.   Picking him therefore is a gamble with 3 points every time.    The problem is, the same applies to some other players too.  Tav for instance.   Hodson for definite.    Wallace for instance.  Fod for instance.

We have Kenny Miller running around in midfield like a headless chicken.  We need an actual footballer in there that knows the role and can pass it around.  Jack can be that man but after the sending off we should've brought in another CM, not put Kenny in there.  Windass and Miller are good athletes with plenty of running in them but they haven't got enough ability on the ball to occupy our midfield.  Pedro's signed two good CBs and I do think Dorrans and Jack will give us a tougher midfield.  However, without more attacking quality in the wider areas and up front we'll struggle and just start punting it long like we did today.  If we don't sign more attacking quality before the window closes we're fucked.

Hibs seem to have better players than us midfield to front and that's ridiculous.  They've turned their squad round in one summer and now look like they can compete for second.  They were passing it around in the middle and pressing us high up the pitch no problem at all.  Other teams are progressing while we remain either stagnant or move backwards.

You say we have two good centre backs? Alves is the real deal but I am afraid his partner is very poor check out the first goal today he shows the hibs player inside towards the goal when even a school boy know to jockey him wide away from goal. This guy is not the answer !

Tin hat on here, but I've not been impressed by Alves either, he was shaky on more than one occasion last week and wasn't to impressive today either.

The heads of the team went down the second they cunts equalised. A whole 15 minutes before the red.

That first hibs goal was outrageous as fuck to let happen, never mind the bullshit red and never mind that fucking pathetic own goal after that either.

Yes.   The manager has spent a fair bit of time on interviews giving the impression of tail-wagging eagerness to bring the Support the right sort of football bone for this season.   It's all talk and not being backed up in games that matter.   Results like today and - even worse - the result in Luxembourg when added to the last OF defeat and the defeat by Aberdeen at the end of last season all, imo, point to a manager who is quickly proving himself to be the same as the last manager - totally useless.

Miller is that player when played up front. With his back to goal Jen is really good. He as to be up top though. Herrera should have been benched and rossiter should have came on immediately after the red card.

Mckay didn't turn up for the odd game. He turned up for the odd part of a game.
