2nd time a hivs manager has done this.

Where is the condemnation of this club let alone Lennon?

Was Fenlon backed by the media and managers groups when he was up on this charge?

If ever an incident has the potential to demonstrate discrimination in favour of the perpetrator, based solely on the individual they are, this is it.

tlb and the cabal are now officially teflon, protected by a system that hates everything we stand or maybe that should be stood for and if we thought it was open season on us before this then we ain't seen nothing yet. Even if the footballing authorities do give popcorn mouth punishment it will amount to nothing. It all moves on he takes his slap on the wrists it's what he's there for and the next attack happens from a different angle and we go through all this shit again ! We need a good season on the park!

We need a better leader at the top of the club ... someone that's here and has to live with what we have to live with would be progress

Well you wouldn't mind if there was somebody left holding the fort sure and steadfast willing to take them on instead of the  professional bridge building wise monkeys we are lumbered with! ?

I'm actually pretty amazed at the lack of interest in this thread.

Fenlon gets 4 game ban for almost identical conduct to that which tlb did at our place and it's hardly making a wave on here.

Saturday's events demonstrated a complete lack of parity in terms of what he and his players can get away with.

We seem to have accepted it already......

It's a lost cause we all know Lennon will get away with it.

Maybe.

But we should be highlighting the precedent set and the glaring lack of parity and demanding the authorities explain why.

How else do we know what is acceptable conduct or otherwise?

In hindsight, the issue the OP raised would have been ideal as part of the 1872 statement as it would have likely received more publicity and momentum that way.

That looks similar if not lesser given it doesn't appear to be directly at fans (like turning around to confront a full stand would be).

4 games ban too eh?

Id be getting paranoid if I thought Saturdays incident didn't warrant and bring about AT LEAST the same punishment.

That's for the offence alone. Not withstanding the fact Lennon already has a suspended ban hanging over him for previous misconduct.

Yup. Paranoia about to really kick in now......

My initial thought was ignore TLB.

On reflection when considering what happened to Fenlon.

It is axiomatic that at least the same sentence should be applied.

Perhaps more with his previous.

If he gets away with this whats to stop him doing the same at tynecastle or murrayfield during an Edinburgh derby.

So he gets called a wanker at ibrox. And that makes it acceptable?

He's said the fans statement was laughable and could of been written by a 15 year old. (On bbc website)

Hibernian manager Neil Lennon has described a statement by a Rangers' fans group criticising his actions as "laughable and insignificant".

Club 1872, the second largest shareholder in Rangers, claimed Lennon made "various inflammatory gestures" to fans during Hibs' 3-2 win at Ibrox.

Police Scotland said no action would be takenagainst the Hibs manager.

Lennon said he had not heard of the fans' group and thought the statement had been "written by a 15-year-old".
