Guys fucking terrible.

Embarassment to himself and the club, a Mexican international who cant even provide any sort of contribution to a team in attacking sense against 10 men.

Well done Pedro... we are gonny get hammered next week.

A Mexican international who did nothing against 10 man Patrick thistle. Says it all

If he was decent he'd have been at a European team before now.

Pena needs to be played from the start.  He has hardly kicked a ball for us.  10 or 20 minutes on occasion is not enough to find your feet with a different squad.   This guy played something like 40+ games in the Mexican top league last year, he isn't a mug.   Our tactics are utter mince due to the manager.

He uploaded a picture on his twitter and the amount of abuse he is receiving from so called fans is embarrassing, I actually think he will come good.

Based on?

Pedro should take off the training wheels and give him a full run out on Tuesday night.

he either has to sink or swim, at the moment he cant get into a rhythm and is barely treading water, needs a full 90.  Guy has to offer more than Miller or Windass

Ok, he's not 'up to speed' yet. We get that, but his passing, first touch and control is horrendous: change of climate, culture, new surroundings, new team mates etc, shouldn't stop a 'professional' footballer - who is a mexican internationalist -  stop, control and pass the ball 5 yards. If he wants to conquer europe and be idolised here, then he can start by destroying the tarriers next week, and show us all what we'v been missing so far.

The manager would need to include him in the team sheet then and Pedro has not been doing that.

He is a signing we all want to do well, but I have my concerns; he doesn't seem able to impose himself on a game, and he doesn't appear to be a game changer, which is what we would hope for from a player that came with his reputation, and his price tag. Moving him on should be an option sooner rather than later.

can understand the criticism of Pena to an extent but the ignorance of some people to assume he's just some fat has been with no ability at all is far too apparent.

sick of seeing/hearing 'aye, 3.5 million for this shite'.

he really wasn't all that expensive nor has he ever been expected to carry our season or be some star signing, he barely cost more than Garner.

considering his track record and that even players of the calibre and natural fitness of Mkhitaryan have struggled with fitness and adaptability then I'm inclined to trust Pena and our coaching staff.

Whats more worrying is that he's almost did as much as Windass has in terms of actual affect on a game rather a run or two yet has only had a few brief cameos and still bears the brunt of the blame.

last week he was finally finding his feet and needed support, this week he's shite and unfit?

He's just not there yet...in every department. But to be fair every poor pass he makes is the right pass under the circumstances, you can see what hes trying to do. Hes never negative, never goes sideways, always trying to go forward, every run he makes is well timed and he finds the space effortlessly.

I'm still hopeful, but then I'm hopelessly optimistic at times.

More clowns in our support. If their not abusing our manager then it's our players. Spoilt wee brats that are hindering our club.

Mexican football is far superior to ours in every way and this guy was a star over there. It'll take time, AND support from our SUPPORTERS, for him to adapt to the backwater of Scottish football. It can't be easy coming from such a technical league into one of the worst leagues in professional football.

So why did this star come to this backwater?
