Take Steven Gerrard, for example. Did he have the technical ability to just sit in front of the defence, setting the tempo and playing conservative passes? Of course. Did he have the intelligence to do it consistently and not give the ball away at the worst moments? Nope.
AljayBoy 2,292
Ach well - that'll do nicely, shame about the consolation goal for them but got to be happy with that. A win and 3 points, a clear improvement when went Miller and Niko went off, and +3 GD. Negri's lovechild
Popular Post SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,699
I think Tav's contribution Today and generally this season has been fantastic he has always hadn't the talent and now that he isn't surrounded by shite like Halliday, Kiernan & Wilson he is a key player for us both going forward and defensively. folkestoneger 7,972
Another good win even if we did lose a late goal. That was about their first shot on target as well. Seem to be improving and with the sheepy bastards drawing we are now one win off the top

Anyone could sit in that pocket of space and pass the ball, the easy ball, to the nearest player to them at a slow pace. It obviously has merit that I can't see, that's obvious. willygers4life 1,031
the difference from last season till now is unreal, perforamance was great but can be better, but can actually see the players wanting to play for us the fans and the club . long may it continue Blumhoilann and delparlane

delparlane 5,554
Last goal put an annoying dent in the scoreline, but to be honest in spite of our solid finishing today (!) we could have been punished a couple of times for slack defending. Must do better at the back.
