I'm proud of both my Scottish and British heritage, my support of the British union was pure and simply because there's more people living south of the border who support the free market and that was that. I always said that I didn't really care which way Scotland would go whether Scotland moved for separation or not, it was more of an issue over the direction the country would go politically and economically.

In other words my distaste was nothing to do with folk like that voting yes and wanting Scotland to go its own way, it was to do with their defence of the mixed economy and socialism in general. For me the best opportunity for a free market can only come through the union itself.

I find it very difficult supporting Scotland, especially with Brown, and The Thumb, playing for them.

I remember going to Scotland games on the Rangers supporters bus, many, many years ago, and it was usually full.

Back in the mid 90's as very naive young Bear I wore my red Rangers away top(Laudrup on the back) to a Scotland v Greece Euro Qualifier, I got absolute pelters all the way to Hampden and all through the game. I remember coming away being unsure if I should in future stay away or say, fuck you I've every right to wear my teams colours regardless. In the end I never bothered going back as it soured the whole experience. I still side with Scotland and hope they get to a major Championship again, but in defeat it doesnt really bother me, and yes the whole tartan Army love in gives me the boak. I always assumed they were made up mostly of Aberdeen, Inverness and Dundee fans to be honest.

I can't support a team that is quite literally filed with taig players. I've said it before, he doesn't pick the best players available and is happy to have a taig love in,rather than pick players who play in the EPL. Baffles the fuck out of me.

As for the team itself I can't watch or support them anymore because it's basically watching sellik now. Deep down I want all scottish sports team to do well because I am scottish and british, but the football team is finished for me now. Even if the team wasn't filled with taigs i wouldnt support them because it represents the type of people that I am not in sync with. The nationalists make you feel less scottish everyday.
