back in the day the tartan army was a Rangers stronghold. The independence bid has allowed it to become a Rangers hating army

This is sadly true, one I cannot disagree with and would question the logic of anyone who would. That referendum pretty much changed the face of things in this country, the whole Yes movement is your typical socialist movement as socialism is a religion, in other words it's a cultist movement. It has more or less turned the Tartan Army into one that is all about Scottish dependence and against anyone and everyone who shows any signs of British pride, in other words hating Rangers. No one can shy away from this fact, it's undeniable.

Here, you don't have to be in the tartan army to go to Scotland games.

When i used to go years ago i never for a moment thought of myself as a tartan army member, i used to argue like fuck with most of them.

Not been for years.

It's only natural that 90% of bears feel disenfranchised with modern Scotland.

TheĀ way the SNP have hijacked and redefinedĀ proud elements of our history (as part of the union) to suit their small-minded rhepublican agenda is not dissimilar to what the Nazis did in Germany.

By that, I mean that the SNP is succeeding in redefining the perception of Scotland both domestically and internationally. The SNP and the Tim-friendly mhedia is running a mutual appreciation society that serves them both very nicely. And one of the main bi-productsĀ isĀ how our society is being educated to view Rangers as bigoted, out-dated and, most worryingly,Ā un-Scottish.

So, for me, being a sensible Rangers fan and being a supporter ofĀ the SNP areĀ completelyĀ incompatible.

I'llĀ ask you again.Ā

Why can't you support the SNP and independence and be a Rangers fan?

The pictures answer your question. If you're not happy with the answer complain to someone who gives a fuck.Ā

They pander to people who hate the club because they associate it and our supporters with the Union and the Monarchy. 100% bigots.

Some of their top MSPs have posted support for terrorist organisations publicly via Twitter and Facebook and never been punished for it and that was during and after the indy campaign. Its not something they've posted as daft wee boys in college.

Frankly, how any right minded person could support the SNP is beyond me.

That argument always makes me laugh- you do realise even if we get independence - the current monarchy will still exist for Scotland? Like it does for other countries?Ā

It will be interesting to see how long that lasts should independence ever occur .

Not very long i would imagine.

Nationalism has fucked this country, a lot of grudges are held after that "once in a lifetime" referendum.

As soon as they get their independence the next target would be becoming a republic, tbere would be a referendum on that as soon as they could organise it.

Would be pretty funny if the bears took it back over 20 odd thousand Scotland "fans" singing God save the Queen would be a laughĀ

Yep , I'd agree . Imo , this is just to win the vote of the fewĀ who want to retain the monarchy while goingĀ independent. Not realising once that happens they'll be swamped with those who want to cut ties completely.Ā

Well hopefully the recent upsurge in nationalism continues to die away the more the SNP fuck up in Holyrood.

I have had enough of the whole debate to last a lifetime, which we were told the vote was for.

It's been done to death and caused so much shite, would we be still talking about another vote had Yes won? Of course we wouldn't.

Nope , it's a one way ticket I'm afraid , which is why they're still trying .Ā

As you say , it seems to be dwindling . Let's just hope that trend continuous at the next few elections to kill it off completely .
