Miller And Kranjcar

I never made it yesterday but I watched the game since and without a doubt Miller shouldn't be starting week in week out nor should niko. I think Miller would make more of a contribution to the games coming on in the last 15-20 minutes when teams are starting to tire rather than playing the first hour or so. I want Pedro to succeed without a doubt but if this is going to be a permanent thing with they 2 playing all the time then it might just be his downfall.

And is that not being part of it? Or are you so up yer own arse on this you refuse to seee any contribution?

There's you going all defensive again on your crusade.

No I'm staying that he played a part in it but not the key part. He simply passed an easy ball, the class of the receiving player set up the chance which was taken by an efficient finisher.

As per assists definition Miller did not assist. He played a part in the build up. As much as the player who got the ball to him. And the player that got the ball to that individual.

So I'm as far up my arse to recognise his true contribution. A pass, not setting up a goal. That's all.

Strange that my factual analysis bothers you re a player you defend for the ability to be found in goal scoring opportunities but fail miserably on each and every occasion to score...

Not sure what it is with blue peter9 but always seems to want to go against the general opinion similar to the Ali situation. Think he must like being the minority or the underdog of sorts. Any player that plays makes a 'contribution' to the game but is it worthwhile being on the pitch? Only 11 players can play out of a squad of 25 or so. The 11 that the manager picks to play should be the 11 that will make the greatest contribution in their respected positions. So does Kenny Miller and niko make a better contribution than others that can play there? The answer is quit simply no and was proven when Pena and windass came on as they BOTH scored and windass set up Pena. So they both combined for one of the goals also. And don't give me this niko and Kenny wore them down rubbish as it is laughable. In no way am I hating on niko and Kenny but it is clear to see that there are others that can play and contribute more to the team!

It's clear that Pedro wants his team to play with tempo and Kenny and Niko can't offer that any more!

With Nemane &  DJ coming in on loan and Windass & Pena getting fitter hopefully we will start to see the two older heads transition out.

No doubt though that they will still have a role to play this season though, as they are still very good footballers.

Can't disagree. Pedro's more at fault than either of them for starting them in the first place.

Will be the end of him if he persists with it.

There is no room for sentiment, fact is Niko has now played a few games and failed to be a threat in the match. You dont perform you dont play, its quite simple. I have a little sympathy for him as he is played put of position but the cold truth is he lacks the ability to move to have an impact in Scotland where the pace is frenetic at times...........I remember at the start of the season a few silly comments on here saying we should build a team around him. Really ? WtF are some folk on !

Miller is also another fortunate ome to keep finding himself on the pitch, performance levels are just not there but unlike Niko I think he can still be used sparingly as a sub or in games of lesss importance.

A guy who seems to be escaping the attention of the majority of fans is Wallace. Another who seems way past his best and IMO offers very little stability to the team......I worry how long Pedro persits with this as it will cost us the chance to improve if his levels remain the same or get worse.

Thinking a few games ahead Miller is never going to be dropped for an old firm game so we're either going with 2 up top or Miller will be playing in midfield :megaanguish:

If we go 4-4-2 against the Taigs they'll destroy us.

We need to go 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 for game against them.

I know Miller has scored regularly against the tarriers but it's time to use him as an impact sub.

As for Kranjcar I wouldn't even have him the squad for that game. I don't think Pena is ready for it either, if he ever will be.

Sticks in my craw to say it but I'm relying on Windass to swallow some brave pills and make an impact.

Both Miller and Niko should be used as substitutes, saturday proved this beyond doubt. However I still think Miller and Niko have a part to play and their experience will be beneficial to the younger guys in the squad. Regardless of where niko starts or not he should be nowhere near left wing, he was crouched with hands on his knees 30 mins in on saturday.

its my single biggest concern right now. Everything else seems to be coming together nicely, but starting Miller and Nico makes no sense.
