Why is it when we get the first goal it changes how we play? It's like we think at 1-0 the game's won and we can manage the opposition. Our defence isn't good enough for that. We need to be breaking teams 3-0 before we think about easing up and defending the lead.

I don't think it's the mentality. I think teams then go chasing goals and we are just completely useless when chasing the ball or defending.

Depending on injuries, go 3-5-2 on Saturday with DJ and Tav providing width and bin Windass and Candeias..

You might be right - we were pressing and chasing back in places - Candeias had a better defensive game than going forward tonight - but players like Windass don't have the stomach for a fight to win the ball back.

We have the ability to make some great chances but we waste them. Morelos is superb, sharp and energetic.

When we get in behind a defence the final pass has to be better. The full back positions are suspect and we have to cover them, especially when we are attacking and lose the ball. Our passing has to be crisper, sharper and direct to a team mate.

McCrorie deserves a 1st team place as a CB. Pena looks like he can offer us something good. Morelos needs a striking partner and a run of games together.

These things should have been in place before now!
