backup 4,724
Everyone except the board seems to be in the firing line after today’s game,is that fair or even logical. Surely the buck stops with graeme park he was instrumental in appointing Pedro, will the board make any statement or will they leave Pedro to take the flak on his own, rhetorical I know. The Beast 9,210
They'll say fuck-all. They are individually and collectively lying, cowardly, incompetent cunts.

K.A.I 36,183
The board are knee deep in this shit too but I don't know what they can say ... a statement saying Pedro's a rotten appointment, we'll sack him tonight? We are unprofessional but not THAT unprofessional.
jintybear 8,536
What exactly do you expect the board to say? What board EVER comes out and makes a statement after a defeat? I would like to think they will have plenty to say to Pedro in private but a statement? No thanks. Things are embarrassing enough without that. Smile 26,600
The board will still be sipping wine with Lawwell and co and saying what a great contest it was.
cushynumber 25,178
the board should have their own twitter feed like Trump. So they can respond to every inane time someone calls for them to come up with a statement
Thermopylae 15,286
To be fair they did back him pretty well in the transfer market although if you start by bringing in the wrong manager that may not be such a good thing

As I said rhetorical, with one director in the states and the chairman in SA I expect only silence and inn-action, the only Modus Operandi our board employ. Valance1690 3,826
If a manager is supported in the transfer window, you never see the board making a statement, they dont feel they need to. Pedro takes the flack, these are his players now (mostly) and he spent a fair chunk of money, whether he was the right appointment is something that'll get discussed once hes away. sassaaaa 11,406
Wish folk would stop repeating this shite , this board only ever talk two weeks before season ticket renewal time.
WeirFleckNRothen 1,789
The only statement I want to read is in relation to Pedro Caixinha's dismissal.
Alves70 393
A few lines in a statement won't do much but I think it's time to come out in the press and give an idea of what direction the club is going in the future and what's happening with the rights issue now Ashley is out the way etc. Would also be interesting to hear if we are in talks with anyone about a new kit deal etc. We certainly need a clear plan going forward. ciderman 39
The board are part of the problem
steven33jackie 1,920
The only way to bridge the gap is to back him again (or whoever) with a similar amount of money except this time on 2 maybe 3 players instead of 11.
