bordersbear 1,105
Dorrans shit it out of a 50/50 against broon. Jack sitting far too deep to break up play in midfield. Windass wouldn't know a tackle if it bit him on the arse. We need someone in centre mid who will make his mark early on and dish out a little retribution when required. Souness.both Ferguson's.etc.Even Terry Hurlock. He was never the most skillfully player but the opposition knew he was there.
stewaj3 1,444
We need a midfield. By my reckoning 4 of them. We need at least two wingers another cm and an attacking midfielder who can burst beyond the striker(s)Â Jack and candeias are the only two that get any sort of pass marks thus far. Turnberry18 3,204
Perhaps Ryan Jack had a better game than you think he had. We don't need an "enforcer" as much as we need a forward line than brings us more goals. Morelos has huge potential; there is a slight case for Herrera to make more starts; we need more throughout a match from Windass, or else he should move on; we should move Miller on in the next window, and get ourselves another striker, as well as a winger. I think that would improve us significantly.
KingKirk 25,595
No we don't we need to win the battle first then let our ability win games. That's what the players need to understand. We might be the biggest and best club in the world but we've got to earn the right to play every single time we cross the line.

6superbarry6 14,128
Genuinely thought Dorrans would've been right up for it but he was a huge let down,a Hallidayesque performance
McEwan's Lager 30,473
We need a lot of things to be honest. Add this to the shopping list.
Ger_onimo 20,488
We've been saying this for years. We keep signing "enforcers" and they keep turning into pussies. Part of the bigger problem of the mentality at the club imo.
bluenose244 2,618
We need 11 men on the park! A lot is made of these so-called enforcers (hard men) etc.. Kyle Bartley wasn't brought in to be an enforcer, Kevin Thomson wasn't brought in to be an enforcer, but they did what was required of them and stepped up in these situations. hammer93 15,055
On another note what has happened to Rossiter again, he wasn't even on the bench on Saturday, I think if he is fit then he should be getting a chance, he needs a run of games to prove either way if he has it or not to play for a club the size of ours. the old guard 2,321
We need a solid defence, jack sits deep because it's clear our defence couldn't keep weans out a close, maybe a better and harder central defence will let the midfield play on the offence much more often, we need to be harder to score against first, cause right now we are as soft as shit and far to easy to play through.
RDFM 3,809
Nope, we need good footballers.
Alves70 393
First thing we need to do in January is get Walker,McLean and Moult all tied up on pre-contacts. I know they are not exactly world beaters but I think they would significantly strengthen us for most of the games in Scotland. We definitely also need to use the loan market better in January maybe bring in someone not getting a game for an EPL team who would improve us till the end of the season. dee9 3,972
We always seem majorly outnumbered in midfield. Dorrans and jack always look like the need to cover acres of space. So fucking frustrating

theclothmonster 1,704
More important is finding a vocal on the pitch leader, there is no one in our squad who rallies the team when required . Too many games where it gets a bit tough and the senior players turn into sheep, sulk or just shite themselves completely.
TMB 14,167
Some players do tend to enjoy the big games more. Weiss seemed to enjoy it and Jason Cummings was another who always put on performances for Hibs in the cups. We need those type of personalities in the team who won't shy away from the big occasions, but who will flourish in it. King_gazza 1,065
Ian Ferguson wouldn't have stood for any of that shite on Saturday. Courtyard Bear 41,357
Every team in the league knows they can turn up kick us all over the pitch and we plus the Refs won’t do a thing about it. Until we have a whole team, not just one so called hard man that will let them know that stops now and puts a few of them on their arse nothing will change.

You could see him shifting right with Jack doing the same. Pena was on Broonaldo and kept him busy and quiet in the first half. Dorrans and Jack will show up much better when they are not covering for defenders going out of position.

He's blue he's white 717
Would rather players with strong mentality than strong tackles. We are mentality weak, if we can fix that then and only then will we stop the rot. That begins with the board ...
