Camshy 812
The club is an absolute fucking disgrace and I hope fans steer well clear of spending any money. I knew this is what the club would do and everyone in here said no way, it wont happen.........well as clear as the bullshit always coming from the board. Dont care if all the money goes straight into the first team, which it wont, to treat fans in this manner is a fucking disgrace. Can shove those strips right up yer arse. ronniemca 479
Lots of " fans" who wanted our board to get rid of Ashley so they could buy strips etc have been found out once again .always wanting others to stump up , meanwhile the taigs have a record breaking sale for a strip that is almost double the cost .back the club right enough lol
weeneily 1,460
Well SD are still responsible for the logistics until next year so Ashley will be making his margin on the full supply price to the Club. He then gets a percentage of our own sales and to top it all the Club have 100% responsibility for the costs of the Megastore. No wonder the price has to be high to make anything. Ashley must be laughing all the way to the bank and thanking King for such a great deal. IMO its worse than the 49/51 split of net profit after both parties absorbed the costs. But in the bigger picture, a compromise/deal had to be made to get rid of him, and his previous 7 year deal etc. He was never going to go easy, and as unpalatable as it is, it's certainly worth it for one year. We can choose ourselves next season.

The price might seem a bit high but with the overheads of the Megastore at least the Bears are helping contribute to these and hopefully a decent contribution will go to the Club this year. City_of_Blue 565
I think we will feel better shelling out 55 notes if King invests bigger and better. Granted, it would be easier if he had good sales from the kits and megastore, but he needs to repay us with a worthy squad.

I would being it in house now as the present deal is ready to expire and find a supplier who can produce strips as adidas, puma etc don't make these, some kid in Bangladesh or somewhere are churning these out for pennies. Unless some sports company offer us millions in advance to make our next top then chase them as we always sell a shit load of tops and would put most clubs UK sales to shame we sell that many Whoever would get a deal to make our strips would sure as fuck have Mini or King in their board in some capacity , this would enable the two lying bastard charlatans to line their pockets with cash. The SD deal has changed fuck all , the price increase covers SD so both are happy

That Rangers would just forever sell the home strip at about £20? The strips were sold at that price to get some much needed cash in at an important time. Now it's back to business as usual and there's nothing wrong with that. The average price of a strip in the English top flight is about 60 quid, so why shouldn't Rangers be up there at around that? Because, the amount of shit the fans have had to go through regarding sports direct and that shitey company making fake Rangers tops and the fact that we still haven't got a new shirt - instead it's a recycled one. It started off as being business unusual, and the fans suffered for it, so it should have remained business unusual. They'll find that a lot more fans would have purchased the top if they'd set it at a reasonable price. They haven't. Next season they can set the price to align with the market, but to do it now is a kick in the balls to every Rangers fan.
