Would like to see the Founders Trail guys involved somehow. The work they have done in researching our clubs beginnings is absolutely brilliant.

I would name a stand or the training ground after our Founding Fathers or something along the lines.

More unrealistic ideas would include flute bands performing pre match, the Queen in attendance to help celebrate and Prince William singing the sash in the centre circle.

The anniversary of the founding of the greatest football club the world has ever seen is in 2022 which isn't too far away

how would you like to see the Club celebrate this fantastic milestone and how will you yourself like to celebrate it?

First of all is like to see the Rangers win the treble that season, would be perfect

apart from that I hope the celebration is more than just entertainment at half time. It would be good to have some kind of weekend event organised somewhere in the City with as many Bears and as many Rangers legends as possible in attendance

liked David Edgars suggestion of a underground operation to paint the entire city centre blue

we should make everyone in Glasgow unable to avoid hearing about the anniversary of the world's greatest institution ever

The underground is already Orange, leave it alone

Don't think given the financial circumstances we will see much regards the stadium, but surely we could finally get a Rangers Museum befitting our history, perhaps the GCC could help fund as it would be a tourist attraction.

In any other country in the world they would embrace having the world's most successful team and there would be  street parades and events in celebration of 150 years. Here though we will be allowed to do fuck all and will have to put of with digs and hatred being spewed towards us.

All because our forefathers have managed to grow potatoes.

We won the ECWC  for our Centenary Celebration, although we didn't know about it back then, as we thought we were formed in 1873. We built a Centenary Stand in 1973. We!l we put benches, to sit on, in the standing area where the Govan/ Sandy Jardine Stand is now.

Maybe we'll give Ibrox a lick of paint to celebrate 150 years, and get Rangers fans to do the job, just so that we'll know it will be done correctly. Hopefully I'll still be around in 2022, and we've stopped them getting 9 in a row by then.??

Im sure GCC are working on this now.

12 months of celebrations, street parties, bus parades, street renaming, firework shows, museum and galleries displays, turning George Sq into a blue/red/white extravaganza all take time to plan you know....

You missed out pavement and kerb painting from all points of the  dial all leading to a George sq blue red and white extravaganza.

The club do have "Project 2022" which they acknowledge covers ..

150th Anniversary of club being founded

50th Anniversary of out 1972 European success

25th Anniversary of our 9inarow.

Unfortunately, they were fairly circumspect in what that involves.

Special matchday programme and a wind damaged banner :rangers:

The only thing I want for that big occasion is for us to be winning games and successful again

I’m not remotely interested in the likes of Derek Johnstone, John Brown, Mark Hateley and Richard Gough on the park at half time, special £15 matchday programmes or wee do’s at the Louden or functions at hotels at £150 a head

just get us back being the top team in Scotland that’s all the occasion needs
