Just been informed we lost 2-0 in the period with our first team. I've lost interest in Pedros methods so I don't read or listen to interviews with him, haven't for ages now

... and that makes it ok to comment based on just a headline? Welll look at you mr sun reader!

most teams play a settled formation that is tweaked depending on the opponents, they do not make changes game after game to the point its new formations and tactics.

and of course i would like is to have diversity in how we play, but until we have one tactic we can use that can at least bring home wins first then that is like running before you walk.

we have a good squad, it tells me as much away from home when teams open up to try play us and we pick up our wins. But the tactic employed first and foremost is gash. And our players when going 1-0 get the almighty fear in them.

Settled teams play a settled formation that is tweaked and that is a luxury we haven't had. Most of the changes are done due to injuries, suspensions and the squad being thin. We are nowhere near being the finished article.

One tactic and do it well worked out really well for Warburton didn't it ? One tactic will really break down those defences that we struggle against at home - yet you object to him trying to improve tactics it in a closed doors game. That makes no sense at all.

Make your mind up. You say we have a good squad and can pick up wins away from home but then say the tactics to get those wins first and foremost are gash. That makes no sense either.

We do not have a good squad.:justno:   Its better than what it was but is still a long way away from being a good squad. Our wing backs are gash, our centre backs are still weak, a lack of strength and creativity in midfield, a non existant left wing and sorely in need of a second striker. Apart from the obvious lack of quality in certain positions, we get the fear -  because our leaders on the park - well they're not really leaders are they. Yeah we've got a good squad though .

What you said makes sense, but he never changed tactics with the same group of players, each group in each 1/3 played with a different formation/tactics. He can't do that in a real game.

Pretty shite post tbh.

Given no matter what he says you'll have issue with it, maybe threads clearly headed with Pedro commenting on something are best avoided.

he should avoid opening his mouth in the papers full stop. I can't think of a single thing he's said that's been of benefit to anyone, he's the same as Ally and MW, thinks we're thick and some nonsense statements will keep us happy

it didnt work out for warburton because he did not do his plan A very well now did he?

the players we have and money spent we shouldnt be adjusting our tactics this far into the season, simple as that. I understand why a team would do it, but a team the size of Rangers scraping a draw against morton so they are more prepared for st johnstone is just not on.

Maybe for others but not for me.

And regards to injuries , suspensions and teams parking the bus against us, when has football at ibrox every been any different, no excuse for not demolishing teams at home.

Some of that is fair enough but if he's being interviewed on his thoughts on training during the international break then his comments seem reasonable enough. Hard to get interviewed for say RTV or papers and literally say nothing.

Yeah the proof will again come from results.

Just think "daft fucking Portuguese cunt mouth" and "prick" aren't necessary.

It wasn't a real game. The clue is in the words " behind closed doors bounce game".

We trained well, heard that somewhere before.

Training well has significance, don't you agree? It wasn't that long ago many of our fans were lamenting that we didn't train well. You're right, training isn't everything, but posts like yours risk making what the squad does in training appear irrelevant.

No he didn't and I doubt very much if he had a Plan A in the first place.

I disagree we should be adjusting our tactics to suit each game otherwise we'll be as one dimensional as a Warburton side. The game against Morton was a bounce game ( they played for 105 minutes ffs)  used to try out new things and keep fitness levels up and the scoreline is totally irrelevant.

Wouldn't you expect professionals to train well? The clue is in the word "professional".

I would  much rather be posting that we "played well" but there hasn't been many opportunities to do that under this manager.
