Thermopylae 15,286
There does seem to be a growing tim bias in the corridors of Scottish football power these days. As the title suggests if there was an ex-tim manager who had won a treble against another treble winning manager and also won more down south than the colossus that is brendan rogers can there really be any doubt that he would have his feet under the table by now? G.E.C. 18,751
He has been the Scotland manager.
left winger 14,142
Nope. Having Mackay is a cost saving exercise - no need for a manager at the mo.

dee9 3,972
No. Couldn't care less who gets it tbh but I wouldn't give it to mcleish regardless. Paranoia on Rangers media is becoming unbearable

Totally agree with this. The SFA are a right tight bunch, remember all the money they stole from oldco, and the costs they billed newco for. NixonRFC 1,333
Nah, the SFA are many things, tight arsed bastards being high on the list, there's no competitive fixture until next September so they'll no be paying someone for basically a year to do fuck all. So you think a treble winning ex-tim who also won silverwear in England, and is currently out of work, wouldn't be the new Scotland manager by now? And if not why not? orangecountry 148
Because he's had the job before and didn't exactly cover himself in glory. Nor has he done particularly well since getting Birmingham relegated (2nd time) The fact he's whored himself out to Rangers Birmingham and now Scotland without there being any interest in him should really give all the answers you'd ever need as to why he shouldn't be offered the Scotland job. Regardless of what he did over 10 years ago

He did that in 2003 season. Its not exactly a high profile job as such given how bad we are but a treble 14 years ago is hardly going to make him number one target for the job, is it? And certainly not proof that he's being victimsided for not being one of them
