We're delighted to report that we've been contacted today by John's niece who is now in  Australia where the family are located.

They were more than happy to give us the go ahead to start the restoration work on the plot.

Great stuff. ??

Guys . I was in Budapest recently

I seen this amazing monument to the fallen heroes .

It wasn't just a name of the person  that was on the monument

It was the name and the fallen persons photo . Like a profile photos  .Not one with them eating bag of chips

It's good that we have the monument with the names of the 66 on it .

I think the relatives , would love if their was a visual memory as well

I was thinking of suggesting it to the club .

A marker with a photo for these tragic Rangers fans would be a longer lasting memory for future generations

Thoughts guys ?

I was at Millwall's New Den a couple of seasons ago and they have a small memorial garden behind the home end and I thought that was a great idea but can understand the problems we would have in regards to having something similar at Ibrox . Perhaps the photo idea could be incorporated on the wall where the John Greig statue is .
