Not buying that Murty is too scared to tell him or too daft not to see he isn't doing it, as Lord Lockin said when he drops deep it allows  others to move inside which makes things harder for opposition defences.

Murty showed his strength of character by not giving Alves a starting slot and his two brief stints as gaffer has shown he knows how to organise the team.

I think it's nonsense to suggest the manager gives his instructions and Miller just ignores him, does his own thing and then stays on the park for 90 minutes.

miller dropping deep allowing others to move inside does not make things harder for opposing defences, it does the opposite in that it narrows the pitch down so defences can bunch up and make things difficult for morelos and whoever comes inside

if its the managers instructions that miller drop deep and invade the space of guys like jack, holt etc then murty certainly doesnt not deserve the job as this is the worst part of millers play

Can't say I see Miller as a midfielder either but Lord Lockin's post makes sense as to why he drops deep.

2 wins and six goals scored with none conceded from open play suggests that this tactic maybe working.

He drops deep because he's become so deluded he actually thinks he can affect games from there. At his very best he was a channel runner, who worked extremely hard. Seeing him sat deep moaning at everyone else from the number 10 position is depressing.

He's technically basic with no awareness and now, no legs.

Kenny Miller becoming bigger than the team sums up how low we have sunk. Kenny Miller.
