Not one to linger on other forums, but the McInnes thread on AFC Chat is fucking gold just now.

Bitter fucking sheep shagging bastards. Would turn on their own ma' if she brought the wrong colour milk home.

First and last warning, Seamus, play nicely or face the consequences.

To go against conscience is neither right nor safe.

I cannot and will not recant anything.

Make of that what you want..

Weapon indeed.

McCoist, McCall, Warburton and Caixinha... I dare you to argue any different.

Could do with a laugh.

He's right if he means since Walter's second time in charge. The only possible exception is McCall - getting Motherwell to finish second in the 2012/13 season was some achievement.

Of course that's what I meant. McCall is the only one you could barely argue but he's had far more failures in his career than McInnes at this point.

A few on FF are saying that Docherty wants to stay at the sheep/doesn't want to come here.

They would say that though.  Taken in context with all the anti-sheep conspiracy theories (they even think the BBC has a pro Rangers bias ) their forum is full of shit.

You confident you will be talking like that while BABN is using your head as a bouncy castle?

Check your PMs.

Maybe you should have said "since Walter's second stint"

You could argue Warburton has done just as much, won the championship with us got a lot closer than McInnes ever got to getting a team into the premiership and really should have a Scottish cup on his CV.

As outrageous a statement as it’s sounds, sadly he’s not far off the mark.

General denial that McInnes team since 2016 and our return to the top flight sees them lose 85% of games against the old firm.

That's a fact and involves McIness, why is it not on topic?

Bottle big games.

Who denied it?

I probably should have, but I didn't actually think people would take it as from the first stint when we've had Advocaat and Le Guen through the door.

Aberdeen is a cesspit of a city. Utter weirdos. All they had is oil and given peak oil in the North Sea has been and gone, they'll be a ghost city in years to come.

The last few years with Mcinnes have given them the idea they are somehow relevant again. They are not.

The one thing Warburton, Pedro and Murty had in common was they all pumped Aberdeen.

Now they've lost their manager. They'll lose Mclean (probably to us) and the celtic players they have on loan will disappear to the Championship or league 1.

Basically their side back into irrelevance has began, and they don't like it.

No idea why anyone is considering the compensation. £1m is much less than the cost of appointing the wrong man again...

"the passion and the ferocity with which he went head first into the new stadium and faciltiies meetings and everything to do with that, is what is making me have such a hard time about believing he would jump ship from us to them

IF he does this, then I will never trust anyone in the footballing world again"

I assumed we were talking about who had the 'best CV' at the time they applied for our job - that seems more relevant. In any case, if you're going to use Warburton's time here in his favour:

1) He "really should have" a Scottish League Cup on his CV - McInnes actually does
2) You're dead wrong. McInnes actually "won the championship" (i.e. the old First Division) with St Johnstone back in 2008/09

On the Aberdeen vs celtic thing, eck was on tv last season openly admitting that the Aberdeen board had no problems with celtic but never liked Rangers at all.. so there you go.

the only time it would be different was 2 year ago, didn’t the sheep beat them twice? And went like 5 games from the end of the season before mathematically losing out? Partly down to mcinnes and partly down to the smellies playing at 75% under deila
