Sadly he has one of the worst types and the outlook is not the best. I can only but imagine the fear and heartache that he is experiencing. His poor family must be beside themselves. However, where there is life there is hope and I pray this young man is with his family for a long time to come.

It generally is but can be beaten if caught in time, perhaps he'll be lucky.  Happened to one of our own fans and that was almost 10 years ago and he's still going strong.

Unless he has some fantastic health insurance or is minted then treatment in the USA would be cost prohibitive.
