govanblue 16,847
Many thanks to @folkestoneger whose unused ticket for tomorrow has made a fellow Loyal Fund Member very happy. And £45 for the fund. (face value) And an unsolicited £15 for the Fund (Agent's fee???) Perth_Campsie_Ger
govanblue 16,847
Hmm, it's been quiet on this thread for a while. That will be due to all the other fundraiser threads, I guess. So where have we got to?...
govanblue 16,847
It's difficult finding stuff big enough for Dinger these days, so since we had some of these in size 3XL, I've sent one out to him. Cost: £15 - proceeds to Rangers Youth Development Company. It's got to be an improvement over that Christmas jumper... Bears r us
govanblue 16,847
And I'm sure he'll be wearing it proudly on Sunday. Did I mention that we've got him a wheelchair ticket for the semi? govanblue 16,847
So the November fundraiser will soon be drawing to a close. Next up will be the Erskine Season Ticket Renewal Fundraiser. We'll need about £3k for that. So get ready! Oaktreeloyal and bordersbear
govanblue 16,847
Many thanks to @King's Troop @mearns loyal and @WILLIAM BEAR who donated their seats for last week's game. Circumstances meant that we didn't get to use them all, but we managed to get an extra 4 Veterans in from the Erskine Bungalows, and sold one for £30. govanblue 16,847
So a while back, we had some spare tickets, so we gave them to Erskine. Erskine couldn't use them, so they sold them on. That was ages ago, and I'd forgotten all about it. Until Kenny from Erskine Transport reminded me, and gave me the £260 that they collected. It seems a bit weird having Erskine fundraising for us for a change, but hey ho. What we'll do with that £260 is ask the Erskine Bishopton Rangers Supporters Club what they want us to do with it. govanblue 16,847
It's not all doom and gloom Here's an update from Erskine Park Home, still making good use of the Season Tickets we bought them... Quote Here is a picture of our resident Magnus with his son Graham. Magnus used to have a season ticket at Ibrox but hasn't been there for some years. Both agreed that it was fantastic to spend the day together at the match [Rangers v Dundee] thanks to the generosity of your guys. And he even got to enjoy a rare win! Those Season Tickets are now due for renewal by the way. I've got a few updates from Erskine Bishopton too. They will follow eventually.
