Blueenose 8
The most concerning part is that we aren’t even second best. It’s fucking disgraceful. It’s gotten to the point now where people think we have a given right to be at the top because we are Rangers. We need to surpass Aberdeen before we think about winning the league. This can be achieved by first, making Murty our permanent manager, and second, giving him money to spend in January to strengthen us. All this swapping and changing the manager shite needs to stop. We aren’t getting a name in anyone’s gonna want so just stick with our current manager who’s an excellent coach and can get the best out of the players he has. We WILL be back to the top one day, but it’s the case of how long that will be. It could be before the Tims win 10 IF the board make the right fucking desisions. I obviously wasn’t about back then but didn’t we also have a board who actually cared and tried? Today we have a bunch of half arsed footballers who wilt under pressure at the biggest club they’ll ever play for. And we have a board who don’t give a fuck 1967 board were led by john lawrence disaster.tic won thye big one and we lost to bayern we also lost to berwick signed 2 smiths and sacked one pf the best managers we ever had.not a good time to be a blue nose
harlands plater 16,933
The solution to a problem at Rangers was always to throw money at it. Now there is no money and little likelihood of anyone with money stepping up. It’s more serious this time, much more serious.

Bourne2Win 40
There needs to be a credible 5 year business plan drafted and executed to the letter. Firstly a talented and ambitious young manager, with his full qualifications in coaching and possibly experience coaching youth teams, either in house or at another Scottish Club. He must be allowed to work towards building a championship winning team over a 3 year cycle. That is six transfer windows to get in his players, hopefully trade out those not making the grade for a reasonable fee and get the wage budget to a sustainable level. This new manager would work closely with the DOF and Youth Coach to ensure a steady stream of youth players are filtered into the first team squad over the next 3 years. First task is qualify for Europe group stages, Second is to develop young players in the Cups, Continually improve on League Position and points earned each season. Develop a relationship with a EPL Club, say for example Chelsea, and get the best and most promising of their players on Loan. Have a European team, that loans their players out too. The Board need to get a share issue sorted immediately and get all the fans domestically and internationally to commit to help with finance. The business must be run on sound practises going forward at all times. Hope will become a reality when the business is sorted out.

Our fanbase does NOT have the patience to give a young talented Manager 3 years to build.

I agree with you by the way but supporters are not willing to wait and be patient enough for this to happen. Everyone wants results now

Changed the rules to suit the scum then? In the old days only the league winners got into the tournament, and in Scotland that again equals the league winner, IF they get past the qialifiers. We are in no shape to get past the Europa qualifiers far less the CL's. We can't blame the scum for having the termerity to get past the qualifiers into the group stages. It's simple. Just get above them in the league. It just takes money, and a half decent manager to bring in the neccessary quality. We sadly fail in all three ingredients. We aren't in the position to even secure second we are that bad. So where's the coherent plan to get there? There isn't one and there can't be one, because it would mean the end of this board in them revealing the money isn't there to do so and it never will be. Rupret 223
Whoever posted the apathy comment in another thread, sums it up for me, we have been in some very dark times before, but I have never ever, ever felt so low supporting us. Years of us being a media circus, poor performances, no proper trophies, no players, no heart and soul in the club ..... I'm just very sad at the moment, but I believe WATP, now we just need a board, manager and players to match the supporters.
