Another insipid display of mediocre

4/10 Miller - anonymous, what fucking position was he supposed to be playing tonight....Nicky Law?

4/10 Herrera - Man down

4/10 Candieas - Worst performance in a Rangers jersey since signing

5/10 Wilson - could organise a piss up

6/10 Morelos - Industrious but lacked any real threat

6/10 Tavernier - Quiet

6/10 Windass - Thinks he's Messi with those stupid runs that loses possession

6/10 Holt/ Jack - overrun against a 3 man midfield, worked hard but offered little invention going forward

6/10 Mcrorie - ok

6/10 John - started brightly, then disappeared.

Generous.

Come on, what the fuck is he supposed to do in that position. Tell king to go fuck himself? There can be no expectations Of a  youth coach put in that position.

The only thing he is responsible for is doing his best and with that squad, PepG would be on his jotters ffs.

He's not a youth coach right now though.

He's the current temporary Glasgow Rangers manager who has stated he wants the job and who is in pole position to show through results he deserves it.

He stepped in and wants (wanted ) to step up. A huge difference from last time round.

And given the circumstances he is failing miserably which tonight is down to him and the players.

I agree is a continuation of the on going Board failings.

It was his choice to accept the responsibility.    The DOF has coaching certificates and it could just as easily fallen to him -or been allocated to him - to take the reigns as a more senior employee, or the board find a different interim (they clearly didn't have a contingency plan for dealing with the aftermath of the sudden ditching of Pedro).    My view remains that having taken on the responsibility he bears some responsibility for failing to produce a team to beat Hamilton and Dundee.

I've no difficulty in any assessment that he is only doing his best.   When someone is massively out of their depth then their best is all they can hope to provide.   It's nowhere near good enough unfortunately for him, but more unfortunately for the support that has had to bear the brunt of the experiment in putting a willing person into a very very difficult position.

Maybe the question to the club should be why was the DOF, as the more senior person and with coaching certificates, not taking charge.

Murty must know he cannot do this job. Another Warburton type.

Dundee set up 5-3-2. Packed the middle of the park.

We play 4-4-2 with wider players. W...T...F

We gave them control of the middle of the park and spent the night throwing hopeless balls into the box when we usually had only ONE player against 4 or 5 of theres.

Fucking tragic.

The board members are the ones to be held to account.  No doubt about that in my mind.   Trouble is finding credible alternatives but that does not mean the King and board should not be held to account.

I'm afraid Murty must take his share of the blame.   Having accepted the challenge of interim manager the responsibility is his to prepare a team, to motivate the team, to inspire and provide the quality of leadership that means at the very least a Rangers team comes out fighting for the jersey.    It's his responsibility to secure wins - wins against Hamilton and Dundee - very winnable games.   He could not get enough out a team that he picks and that he sets up.   He therefore must accept blame.   With no intention of defending Pedro, at least he knew he was to blame when games did not go as required.    That's the burden you pick up as manager, whether or not you are an interim.

Murty needs to be relieved of his duties without delay.

to be replaced by who

The board has had more than enough time to find and appoint a proper manager.   They must have reached their decision by now.   Thing is though, it might well be the case that Murty is still in charge for the next game..........and it could get really bad not only for him personally, but for the directors who are at Ibrox if the support starts to turn on them.

Can't help but agree with all of this. Kind of glad Murty has not gone off on a flier as it would make it more difficult for the next manager like it did the last time. Sort of.

That’s it. King and co are majority shareholders and there is absolutely no cunt out there that will even attempt to buy them out. I am thankful to King for stepping in when he did and the work they have done in stabilising the club, but by no means is this atrocity on the pitch and in the dug out acceptable on any level, and this has to be addressed at the AGM.

Sadky though your spot on, replaced by who ?

Awful. Nigh on harrowing.

Can't even say Dundee played well, we are just tragic.

No passion or determination even when we're in dire need of a goal. Not even down to tactics or style so much, the team is just absolutely rank.
