Cardoso is already contracted for next season.  McCrorie is showing a lot of potential.  If we can get Alves and Wilson off the books it might open up the door for someone else to come in.  It really all depends on what the new manager wants.

How much is he on, how much would a new contract cost, who else is available, how much would they cost?  Could we get someone as good/better but cheaper, less injury prone and with potentially better value to sell on down the line?

That's what's important to those making decisions on Wilson.

100%. He’s a good player and criminally underrated. All because he allegedly grew up a c****c fan.

????

Does that even come up in any discussions about him?

If you're not at the wind up, then that's the same baseless argument as those who state abuse and criticism of Miller is only due to him having played for them.

Lazy defence / argument for justified criticisms.

Yes for me. Think he is a better defender when he plays with good defenders like his first stint with Davie Weir. He looked vulnerable when he was paired with the likes of Kiernan.

Also reading McCrories interview the other day where Wilson sat him down before the old firm game and helped him gave me more respect for him.

As far as being a tarrier, he turned down going on loan to them from Liverpool because he said he wouldnt do that to Rangers.

No one will admit it but it’s the reason some don’t rate him.

It's a no from me. People have far too short memories.

People calling for him to have a new deal are probably the same ones who think Murty should be manager - he's played well in three games out of the last six.

If he accepts a reduced wage then we should maybe consider him as a back up.
