Dado'sMulls 2,610
Now has the most assists in the league this season with 6, Tav just behind on 5. Credit to Pedro where it's due, Candeias has been a very handy player for us. Though he was rotten first half today but he never hid, kept the work rate up and got his reward with the assist for Morelos. Instant impact off the bench last week at Aberdeen too. Good business by the club at 700k
TheGovanIniesta 1,000
Proof enough we don’t need bucket loads of money to have a decent team. He would benefit from having other players of similar quality in the team though as often we rely on him or Tav to put crosses into the box and it’s so one dimensional. jamess 3,407
He was lively 2nd half and looked like a much more dangerous player. He seems to be getting better in the team.
RowX 146
Don't know where to start with this... final ball non existent. Wouldn't be near a starting xi of a good Rangers team. How hard can it be to put in a half decent cross.. folds under pressure. Tries hard, that's all I can give him. Would have been the one I'd have hooked at half time today. Say no more
K.A.I 36,183
Overall I like him. He's not great or anything but I think he adds value to us. Wingers are inconsistent anyway and he's no exception - he's got dig, passion and a decent peg on him. I still think overall we need a big improvement on guys like Candeias but he's far from the worst I've seen. Today in the first half in the Govan Front he was getting pelters but I must have been watching a different game as I thought he was firing in decent crosses but there was no cunt in the box? that was the issue
jbm26896 995
Cannot fault his effort But his crossing is very frustrating at times.
RowX 146
Amazing how differently people can see a game... KAI there was not a single decent cross into the box first half. Pena would have scored a brace second half if the crosses had come on as they did 2nd

Like I said, I agree he was poor first half but again he popped up with an assist when it mattered. He's no world beater, far from it, but he's repaying his relatively small transfer free with his contributions. I'll take that.

No-one was great including him but I thought I seen 2/3 cracking balls in and Miller/Windass was nowhere to be seen in the box
The Specky Forum Organiser 64,486
Said in the match thread he was putting in the single worst performance I'd seen from a Rangers player. Upped it in the 2nd half and never stopped going so fair play

The Barrie McKay's of this world disappear in those situations, Candeias gets on with it. I like that trait in any Rangers player.
CM 1234 68
Would have him locked in auchenhowie all Monday and Tuesday crossing balls. He is frustrating as fuck

For all I don't think Candies is amazing he's got character. He's not someone that hides ... guys like McKay on the other hand? that boys a wee fanny .. talent wise and on their best days I'd say McKay is better but football doesn't happen that way on paper
Lloyd 10,756
You can see why he had over 400 crosses in the Turkish league last season, he’s a good asset to have. He’s underrated defensively too.
kanjo 26,327
As is said, with better players he would be much better too. He's a decent player but I think there is much more to come.
To Be A Ranger 4,032
He has plenty of effort and gives as much as he can, but could do a lot better. He covers back, great, but then switches off and doesn't follow the man he is covering if he goes inside. Fires in a great cross now and then but too often the keeper easily gathers his crosses, or it passes everyone by. In this present side he has something to offer. If we get back to where we want to be, he won't be anywhere near a starting XI.
cp9 753
Better than windass

Leeds_Bear 8,103
He was unusually inconsistent with his deliveries into the box today. Still pulled an assist out the bag though.
RossS1873 1,656
I think playing narrow in the first half didn't help him at all. He was pretty poor. But came out the 2nd half and was a different player. Some smart touches came off and always gives a bit of fight.
RowX 146
The worst thing about this team is the inability to put a decent ball into the box. Apologies but I'm raging, lucky to not lose today. 3 points glosses over a miriad of problems. No crosses and no one in the box. Subbing Pena at half time was criminal... Candeaias offers nothing. Lazy tracking back, no final ball.

Billy1984 6,314
Hopeless first half but never hid and improved second half. Can be a handy player but can be infuriating at times.
