heathen fish boy 8,574
'Zanka Claus is coming to town' - Mathias Jorgensen makes incredible £8,000 gesture to Huddersfield fans Huddersfield defender Mathias Jorgensen is set to make an incredible £8,000 festive gesture to Terriers fans. David Wagner's side kick start their hectic Christmas schedule with a long trip to Southampton on Saturday. Despite fans embarking on a 472-mile round trip, Huddersfield have managed to sell out their entire allocation for the encounter. And in a show of thanks, Denmark defender Jorgensen has offered to buy every supporter who makes the trip a drink. Jorgensen, who is known as Zanka, posted on Twitter: "I hope you like the gift. Zanka Claus is coming to Town!" He added: "Your support this year has been truly amazing, so I thought I would think up something special for those of you travelling to Southampton this weekend." Huddersfield were given an allocation of 2,596 for the encounter and every fan will be presented with a voucher when they enter St Mary's. They will be able to redeem the voucher for a drink when they take on Stoke on Boxing Day, with Huddersfield charging around £3.20 for a beer at the John Smith's Stadium. PL That means if all fans take up the offer, Jorgensen will be coughing up close to £8,000. Huddersfield also face Burnley and Leicester over the festive period. G.E.C. 18,717
Good guy. Reminds me of when Mellberg bought every traveling Villa fan a top in his last game.

Jimfanciesthedude 24,504
EPL clubs usually look after their away fans, wether its free busses put on or something, they might rip the fans off at home, but away fans they know are the backing that might get them a point or three
