Think it's more like players have to have business van insurance for doing them Tesco deliveries.

They aren't at that level, let them eat LIDL

Poundworld unfortunately out the equation, maybe the Poundshop will put in a bid. I reckon the United board could get at least 50p, and demand a seat in the new Poundshop canteen, and if the fan base stay loyal to the Poundshop Newco there'd be enough staff to man 2 tills.

Probably about 250 grand as there is no way the filth got 7 million for him.

I suspect 2 and a half million is still generous.

To be fair, I'd rather go to Bali, than Dunfermline.

The taigs will probably have got about £5million for him, there's no way they could over-inflate it that much - it would get picked up on.

They've previous for including signing on fees and wages saved, so on that basis you're probably looking at the fee being roughly 25-30% out. (Armstrong is on roughly £20k p/w with them, and had 2 years left on his deal = £2million)

He was in his last year and I doubt he was on 20 grand a week.

Yet another year in the Championship for them. Anyone think they will get promoted at the end of 18/19?

Thats not how they supposedly did it, they include the cost of the players new contract at the new club in the fee, hence headlines like "this player will cost Southampton x amount of money"

So if Armstrong got himself 20k a week down there for 4 years that's 4mill give or take, meaning the tarriers only sold him for 3mill
