cushynumber 25,178
Ive read a few, but none stick out. once read Roy Aitkens - dunno why - and to fill his book he would go into detail on the minute of some obscure tackle he was involved in a lot - and also have a separate page for every game and every team he played in where he listed the team. Even then the book wasn't that big. Gazzas was probably the most poignant. Robbie Fowlers was quite funny. i realise none of these are or were actually Rangers players but hey ho. Fuck sake. Right I'll give it a go then. I wasn't going to bother with it because the mate that gave me it enjoys everything fighting related so his word on it meant not very much

McEwan's Lager 30,514
John Greig's autobiography printed in the 60s/70s is a good book. Edit: It's called A Captain's Part. My Story which came out around 2007/2008 is not very good. There's quite a lot of factual errors in it if I remember correctly.

Bearsden bear 2,376
Ally McCoists was good - obviously well before he took over as Manager!! Others i have read that enjoy so much were from Gazza, Derek Ferguson, Lee McCulloch. Non Rangers players books that are decent are Carraghers & big Zlatans. The first book I ever bought for myself. Eight year old taken into town to spend my birthday money. First stop was Ian Luke sports shop in Battlefield to buy the strip then into some bookshop on Union Street to buy the John Greig book A Captain’s Part. Happy days ...
