A fit Naismith is miles ahead of anything we currently have. Can he recapture the levels required?

Well, when you consider that's his first game since August I think you can see he's still got a footballing brain and some of his touches today were different class.

What he said back in 2012 was very painful. Like most on here I hated the bastard.......but times have changed. We can't afford to hate ourselves to death.

Can we really afford to snub a player of his outstanding ability as the vermin march ever closer to Tiar? Or worse still, 55 before us? The answer is NO!

He made a huge mistake, but with Niko and King Kenny all but finished, we need him pulling the strings in that position.

Dave King put the kibosh on it despite certain board members willing to forgive him. I just hope Davie and us don't live to regret that decision.

Absolute unadulterated pish, and you know it. Better than anything we have like fuck. You are at it.He will probably do ok for hearts but hes nowhere near the level youre making him out to be.

In my opinion a fit Naismith is head and shoulders above anything we currently have.

You disagree? No problem.

GRAEME MURTY revealed he DID speak to Steven Naismith before he sealed his loan deal to Hearts.

Scotland star Naisy was willing to play for Rangers for nothing after Norwich let him leave on loan.

Some Ibrox fans were unhappy Gers didn’t take him up on his offer.

Boss Murty, who signed Naisy’s Canaries team-mate Russell Martin instead, said: “I talked to Steven, but we were concentrating on the guys we have brought in.

“Did we make a bid? No. We were looking at lots of players, so the guys we have brought in were those guys we targeted as must haves.”

Yes because Charles Green ended up being innocent. I think some of the players knew what he was like well before the fans did. It was Green talking them into transferring over.

This starts a whole new debate anyways.

Naismith has as much if not more quality than any player we have just now. That' a fact. I would take him if it helps us topple the scum.

Point one this has fuck all to do with Green. At no point did Green say our club was dead. That was glassknees. No one expected any of the so called "top" players to play in third division. All we asked is they do it properly they would still have got a move. Instead this rat decided to hold a press conference declaring our club dead to a bheast media which imo burnt every bridge going. Green did not ask him or that other judas to do that. Point two if you think the player i watched yesterday has more quality than anyone we have now there is  no helping you. He did feck all and will probably be on the treatment table before the months out. Give me Cummings any day over the rat. Go watch that press conference again and if you still think we need this rat you obviously do not have the same feelings towards Rangers Football club as i do.

Most Rangers fan would have, the poll on here and several other polls on many other platforms came up with the same answer.  Poll on here was the closest I saw and it was 56-44 ish.

But you're debating with people who have "principles" and "self-respect"...which is put above what might actually be of benefit to us on the pitch.  If you're a fan surely you want the best on the pitch?

Anyway, he's not with us, and played like a guy that hasn't played a competitive match for 6 months....but there were glimpses of quality that will increase in the forthcoming weeks.   Barring injury ?

"Outstanding ability" either this guy is on glue or he's another obsessed tarrier on here at the wind up. Either way get him to feck.

Naismith will feel the wrath of the Bears when he runs out at Ibrox next month, that will give you a clearer indication of how most Rangers fans feel about the wee rat.
