He is as or if not more famous that most players to play for us yet wants to claim he played for us...... Says it all really

shaka 1,669
Dean Furman.... maybe not made it big but built a solid career after being let go by us and won a lot of international caps.
brazz1972 397
Van Vossen ended up at Feyenoord and 30 odd caps for Holland. Decent
HuistraHairDo 12,489
I think in time we will regret getting rid of Kane Hemmings, I know he's only playing lower English league at the minute but he's banging goals in all over the shop. Jamie Ness scored his 1st goal in 3 yr yesterday, hopefully the lad can push on and make a name for himself, he scored one of my favourite ever OF goals. I also thought Lewis Macleod had the potential to be  Scotland cpt but he sort of disappeared at Brentford.

Drum 160
Our own captain fantastic Richard Gough. Held up as one of the best defenders in the EPL whilst at Everton
Polo 1,433
He didnât make it âbigâ but Stephen Dobbie actually carved out a decent career down south and played in some big games. Scored in one of the Championship play off finals he played in IIRC.

East Enclosure Row N 2,820
Some may not like it - but you could probably add Jim Bett to the list? Left us and had nine years in a strong Aberdeen team. Not world class, but left us too soon in my opinion

Decent I'd say he was reasonably well known when we got him. He had also won the Champions league with Ajax the summer before we signed him. teddybears1872 129
Arteta Done well after leaving us. Pity we didn't keep him a few more seasons. Duncan Ferguson if shit hadn't happened.
Laudrupsleftfoot 10,766
Has Bedoya been mentioned? To play for four or five years in Ligue 1 after barely kicking a ball for us was more than anyone expected. Played at the last World Cup too. hugonot 50
rather than mentioning all the names previously e.g. arteta etc what about Libor Sionko who i thought was a good player but never really got going for us he left for fc copenhagen where he became a great player

JentleJames 199
Jeremy Clement went on to play 140 games for PSG and 170 games for St Etienne. Theres some good obscure ones who maybe played for a season in a big league etc though like Mervan Celik playing in Serie A. Jesper Christiansen had a good career after leaving us and played in the Champions league loads of times for FC Copenhagen.
