cushynumber 25,178
In his first game I had him down as a Diddy. How wrong was I.
El Buffalo 120
Fantastic today. Getting better and better with every game. He's barely played for months, was always gonna take some time to get his fitness sorted and find his form.
Inigo 32,526
MoM I thought. Assists were tremendous.
ianferguson 2,619
Murphy has had a slow start but the last two matches have proved he was only lacking game time . Our front four will give any team problems .

I wouldn't be too hard on yourself, cushy; ever since I started supporting Rangers circa 1953 there have been many players far better than Murphy that has been judged as rubbish after their first game or two. I remember seeing the late great James Curran Baxter (of all people) get called the most useless cunt ever to sign for Rangers in one of his early appearances, just because he hit a stray pass to Ralphie Brand. More recent of course was Ally McCoist and look at what those two legends became at Rangers. The Rangers support have never been described as "patient". I think Murphy is settling in pretty well considering his lack of games recently.
Colin Traive 22,741
Great game yesterday, he’s ten times the player he was at Motherwell.
cp9 753
Was superb yesterday. Played like the player we all thought we were getting.

K.A.I 36,183
I know I've raved about him before but I think he literally gives us an extra dimension to our play - he's a winger, but moreover he's a good attacker that has a few things in his locker. We all get it wrong sometimes when it comes to players. Myself with Goss (going on his early form) even though I don't think he's as imposing as I'd like, he's a much more talented player than I ever thought he was when he signed. WCPRANGERS1 2,997
The goal against Ayr took the weight off of his shoulders imo. Was superb yesterday and so good to have real threat from both flanks, with two wingers who'll also do the defensive side of things.

I think Goss needs to be played a bit further forward, he isn't a defensive midfielder, the same with Docherty.

Docherty is yet to do it for me I'm afraid .. but willing to give him more time to adapt into our team/style of play ... he's got a good engine on him and is a decent battler but his passing has been very poor. Reminds me of a Gavin Rae in all honesty but he needs a run of starts before anyone can judge him.
jcb 1,167
His assist for the fourth goal is something beyond most of our players vision/ability.
graeme_4 34,435
Thought he was really terrific yesterday. Hopefully kicks on and gets even better.
RFC55 108,800
Think it's hard to judge the boy giving he's had very limited game time. He did play really well yesterday though so hopefully now the fitness is kicking in he can improve us

TEFTONG 60,089
I am delighted he seems to be "match fit" now and is showing the skills to match his love for The Club..

plumbGER 24,518
He had a brilliant game yesterday, i was really impressed, but now he needs to do it consistently and against the better teams before i get too excited. Ditto Windass. Too many false dawns over the last few years to get carried away now.
Escobar 13,676
Just seen some of his assists from yesterday, was difficult to see at the game. The one for Windass second is superb.

Have to agree with you Docherty, I hadn't seen much of him before we signed him and I thought yesterday he looked like a Hamilton standard of player. Hopefully as some here have been proved wrong with Murphy, I can be the same with Docherty

I have said i am going to wait before making my judgement and not going to jump on the bandwagon of he must be great because he played in England, yesterday was his first really good performance against a poor Hamilton side so i don't want to get too carried away. If he keeps up that form, which he might well do as he gets more match sharpness, then aye we have a player on our hands.
