Has anyone noticed, R.E Split fixtures

Recommended Posts

That if Killie keep going and make it in the top 6 then by right either,

celtic

Abrrdeen

Hearts

Killie

or hivs will have to come to Ibrox 3 times this season as we would have played all teams twice at Ibrox already.

we could have a Scottish football melt down shortly.

Yeah I was talking about this the other night.

There is no way they would give celtic a third game at Ibrox, the others are a lottery.

Personally I’d take Hibs, Aberdeen, and celtic away, and Killie and Hearts at home.

No matter what the old firm will always have 2 Home and 2away  so the split is either 3 Home games and 2 away or 3away games and 2 at home  so this year it is certain that we will only have 2 home games so it’s any 2 from  Hearts Hibs Aberdeen and either Kilmarnock/Motherwell whoever makes it

Just shows how much this split is a joke. We have had to go the the sheep and Dundee Hibs away three times on many an occasion.

I agree, never seen the real point of it

The top 3 teams should be rewarded with 3 home games and 2 away games, although it might not be a reward for us.??

It’s just a stupid system. If it meant playing everyone twice away and home we’d have to play Hearts, sheep, tarriers and Hibs away ffs  We’d be going ballistic if we were top or challenging for the title.

By the split we will have played 17 home league games so should play 2 at home and three away after the split. So if the top six stays the same two teams will have to come to ibrox three times let the meltdown commence

Was thinking about this just last week.

Meltdown is correct....hope its either the sheep or hivs just for shits and giggles.

Pure Masonic conspiricy n that :mutley:

Not forgetting  we had to play  dundee hivs at tannadump 5 (yep FIVE) times in the same season a few years back.

League is a fuckin joke but will still be funny as fuck if it's one of sheep or hivs.

Leaning towards hivs just to see another TLB meltdown

Nae danger they will make the dark side visit Ibrox 3 times.

It’s the same every bloody season, the system is fucked up.

It’s worse this season as we would have to play all the games away to make it 2 at home and 2 away.

They'll probably make it Killie if that's the case since they'll be the furthest away from us

He's beaten us twice this season at Ibrox so think he'd probably not mind it

Fair point mate. He'll probably be raging if we get them at fester road.

Having said that he's always raging :mutley:

Just slightly. He must have used a Seville calculator.

This whole split league thing is a complete headfuck and was introduced for no actual reason other than some arsehole in the Sfa thought he had a "good idea" and had fuck all better to do with his time.
