Not only the results but there’s a visible difference in performances. You can see what we’re trying to do and we now pose a real threat going forward. All the players work hard and fight for each other. Even Halliday hasn’t looked out of place at left back. Long may it continue.

We used to simply have a good team on paper that would become bang average as soon the match started. Murty has made us a major threat to every team in the league.

We should’ve won that game at Parkhead.

I don't see a top manager coming in and being happy that Allen will have a say in the transfers. Murtys a coach, so it's looking like this set up will work well.

Both Murtys losses have either been with Pedros squad, or the Hibs game quickly after new players coming in and not being completely settled.

We have a chance to rectify it on Sunday and put celtic under real pressure. Sunday is huge in our progress.

These two upcoming Old Firm matches are where he's going to be judged.

There's a lot riding on them for Murty and for the club. We can get back into the title race and into a cup final - that cellic won't be in - or the season ends with a whimper.

Performances are actually exciting these days.

These days going to the games we're talking about how many we'll score, not if we'll get three points or not.

There was far too many games sitting at Ibrox feeling as though we would never score a goal in open play under the past couple of managers.

10 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses.

77% win ratio.

34 goals scored, 11 goals conceded.

Goal difference +23.

(Florida Cup games not included)

We've lost 5 games since Murty was appointed: Dundee, Hamilton, Kilmarnock, St.Johnstone, and Hibs.

Also, games against lower league opposition like Fraserburgh, Ayr, and Falkirk will tend to be high scoring since we have a far superior squad.  Most of the goal difference you've mentioned has probably came in those games and it throws the stats off.  Even under Pedro, who's hated on here, we pumped Dunfermline 6-0 earlier in the season.

The best way to measure his progress is looking at the league games from when he took control of the team back in October.

At the end of the season he should judged on results against all opposition.

Wasn't long ago the general view was the beggars were miles ahead of us on the park, the fact that we're now going into next game confident that we can get a positive result is testament to the job Murty's doing.

I wouldn't underestimate the influence of Jimmy Nicholl in this turnaround as we seem to have found some attitude and fight. Also, the recruitment in January has had a very positive impact.

Whatever the reasons, we're definitely getting better and long may it continue. I hope he continues to succeed.
