LaudrupsPatrickBoots 13,510
Murty isn't good enough and if they cunts do actually manage to get 10 then it'll be this season and this failed experiment that we look back on and regret. We blew it yesterday but now every possible worst case, doomsday scenario imaginable is being brought up: The manager is crap, all the players are shite, the formation is crap, our form is crap, the atmosphere at Ibrox is crap. It’s only ever OTT praise or OTT criticism from the majority of people who post on here. There’s very few balanced, rational posters anymore. BlueSuedeSambas 53,775
This place is going to go into absolute meltdown when he gets a long term contract (which I still think he will). The Specky Forum Organiser and King Jela

We’ve had years of people calling for the managers head and when they leave everybody talks about how many better managers will want the job, come in and have us challenging celtic and it’s still not happened. I’m not convinced that Murty is experienced enough and I don’t think we have the time to allow him to gain that experience but at the same time we just attract shite manager after shite manager and I don’t think the level or quality of manager that we need wants or can be attracted to the club by the people running it, any time soon either. BlueKnight87 17,282
Murty isn't going to be good enough long term for us. He's done well to steady the ship after the Pedro disaster but we need an experienced manager if we are going to stop 10. We've seen several games now where he waits until 70 mins before making the subs regardless of how the game is going. It was clear to everyone that Cummings should have been on immediately after the red card. But he waited too late again until we were behind to react. Yes he is still learning but he is repeating the same mistakes. End of the season we need to approach Steve Clarke. He's turned that kilmarnock team around and I feel he can do the same with us. ShanksRFC 3,869
Murty is a rabbit in headlights and shouldn't be kept on after this season. Warburton got absolute pelters for not changing things during a game and Murty is just the same. As soon as they went down to ten men yesterday he should have changed it in an instant. Instead he looked lost and didn't no how to react for several minutes. BridgeIsBlue
BlueSuedeSambas 53,775
Why is there so much clamour for Steve Clarke? He’s done well with Kilmarnock but he was a bloody dreadful manager in England. Managers of his quality are ten a penny in England and most of them don’t come with the baggage of being one of them. WATP-FOREVER 5,231
Our manager, Murty is an excellent character, but as far as football experience goes at this level he is an 80%'er. Whereas Rangers FC needs a 110%'er.

We dont need him to manage in england, he has proven up here he can do the business taking a shocking kilmarnock team and turning them into the form team in the league. Seems an obvious and reletevly cheap option.

Clarke not the answer for a team as big as Rangers. Let’s be fair if the Portuguese burro hadn’t fucked us at the beginning of the season Murty and our boys would be a lot closer this mhanky mob. I wish we had Murty from the start cos we wouldn’t have had Pena, Herrera, Cardozo, Dalcio etc. Granted we didn’t have Mark Allan in full flow. Give Murty the job for next season along with our DOF pulling strings! Onwards and upwards bears!

Jack The Flipper 5,936
Some of the attitudes in here are disrespectful toward people whom have always said Murty is not the right manager. This is not a knee jerk reaction as a lot of you are trying to make it out to be. I for one have said from day one we need an experienced, tough, respected manager. Until we get that we will fail and fail and slowly the pro-Murty fans will start to align with that opinion. Smile

He took West Brom to 14 wins a club record in the league. He also managed Reading to a Fa Cup Semi Final. The guy has also shown he can outfox Rodgers at both west brom and Kilmarnock. We should at least be contacting his agent to see if he's interested
