Wallace at CB

Regardless of how shite Cardoso and Alves are we must not ever put Lee Wallace at cb in a competitive match. Folk saying he can't be any worse seriously need to consider what you're typing before you post, possibly the worst idea I've heard. He can't defend and gets caught out at lb as it is, his biggest asset was his engine at playing lb but now that's gone he's a squad player now.

Initial thoughts are - fuck no!

However, we are poor in central defence at the moment so it might, just might, be worth a try. I'd like to think he could cope with Kris Boyd's pace this weekend - surely?????

Boyd would have a field day against Cardoso..... Rag doll him all day long.

Mentioned to one of the coaches a few months back if this was a possibility and he said definitely not. He said Wallace had suffered a neck injury when he was a boy in Edinburgh which prevents him stretching properly. He said that was why despite his height he doesn’t come up for corners. Seems therefore it’s a non starter

I still don’t understand why Danny Wilson was allowed to leave,he had been playing well and was miles better than those 2 Portuguese chancers. We were also told mccrorie needed a rest but with our record of treating injuries I am sure he is needing major surgery as we speak.
