There’s a lot debate about who will win the award this year at the moment and the majority of people seem to think it is a straight race between these two so who do you think should win it: Salah or De Bruyne?

Salah. Sure he's only a few goals away from breaking the record for most league goals in a season and, unless he gets injured, I can't see him not getting them so it's fairly straightforward IMO.

Very difficult to decide something like this... Is it Salah for goals scored? Is it KDB for bringing so much and making the best team in the country tick? Is it DDG for single handedly winning so many points for Man Utd, who are second in the league because of him?

The scoring record of Salah for where he plays is outstanding and breaking Liverpool goal scoring records.

KDB an absolutely quality player of the highest order but the step up in form between the two means it has to be Salah all day for me. KDB has been great for years when playing.

Still biased here, declaring Liverpool loyalties.

KDB has probably broken the world record for most world cup passes in a season though
