pcbear 10,913 Posted April 2, 2018 Share Posted April 2, 2018 I read a Barry Ferguson article a while back about the time he visited the Man City youth academy as part of his badges, he reckoned apprentices pros are getting it too easy too soon in a pristine manicured working environment getting everything done for them to the detriment of developing toughness, I make him right and can see us heading the same way. Archie Knox used to terrorise him as did John Brown and John McGregor and Ferguson hated him at the time but eventually realising it was to toughen him up.
