I was in the enclosure the day he scored with the volley. When i was doing my apprenticeship i went over to the Albion and watched them train, at the end i got a few autographs and his was one. I still have the paper well $1 dollar note as it was only piece of paper i had.

RIP

Can’t believe it.So sudden. An ex player who always stood up for the club and spoke highly of us.Was a pleasure to watch him.Made playing seem so easy and always found time for a pass.As for that volley went mental when it flew in.

R.I.P and thoughts to his family.

Used to watch that 5-1 game, with the volley, every morning before i went to school.

Practiced it every day aswell.

A hero when i was a boy and sounds like he was very well respected and will be sorely missed.

Thoughts with his family at this difficult time
