Honestly would love to see the reaction he would get if he was putting in the performances Docherty does.

Superb from him the day.

Maybe other than the Hearts game Docherty hasn't put in a performance as good as Halliday was today

Meaning Docherty was shite? We had a 2 man midfield of Docherty and Dorrans and you picked Docherty as the example?

Thing with Halliday he can be a good attacking midfielder at times.

I think he is mince if he is played as our only holding defensive  midfielder

Defensive mid is his natural position though.

As is left back and left wing depending on who you believe on here.

Can't decide if this is a sarcastic thread or there really is this sort of overreaction to a half decent 30 minute shift.

I have been on here a couple of years and nevet seen anyone being sarcastic or overreacting

I love nothing more than seeing a REAL Rangers fan playing for us an I don’t doubt for a second that’s Andy Halliday to a tee, when he first came in I honestly thought we had a Barry Ferguson type again not as good obviously but in a similar mould attitude wise.

it pains me to say it but I don’t think he’s anywhere near the level of player he needs to be at to get a regular game I hope he proves me wrong an I wish he’d stop falling on his arse looking for fouls

He’s never been a defensive midfielder other than with us

he was played more as an attacking midfielder at previous clubs
