never said that at all but if the club value morelos at £9m+ why on earth would teams come in massively below those figures??

To see how far they can push it. Loom at the amount of times we have gone in well below what a club wants. It's about getting the best deal you can for your own club.

Say fenerbache have £10m to spend and need 2 players. Alfredo top of the list valued at £9m, they will try get him as cheap to allow them to spend a bit more on the other target

Morelos lacks the pace and energy for Gerrards high press and misses far too many sitters. Anything north of 3M and it's a yes from me. If it's true the board knocked back more than 6M in January then it's up there with the craziest transfer decisions the club have made in our recent past and almost as bad as the signing of PENA.

He's about the only player that was actually good at putting pressure on opponents last season, the points you made against him are the same points that the majority of our fans still want him in the team despite the lack of goals recently.

He needs to be more consistent and vastly improve his finishing, with him windass and candiaus in the starting line up imo we will struggle with consistency this season. I think we need two more attacking options.

Relative to Kenya, no. Relative to Nepture, yes.

The Turkish mob wouldn't have been overly impressed by his performance last night. Not bad but not great

depends.  if they are looking for a hard working forward who bullies defences, presses CBs like mad and drags players out of position while creating spaces for attacking misfielders they may feel morelos is an absolute bargain.

unfortunately 99% of our support dont appreciate a players all round play and ONLY judge him on his chances converted %.  sad but true

I still don't get the hype with Morelos looks average at times and against Bury looked nothing special.

I thought he played well last night. Clearly fitter and not carrying weight, was more mobile, chasing down balls, some decent link play and although only 1 goal he was getting into positions.

He is young and raw, but clear potential to be a 20-30 goal a season striker.

I thought he had a good game last night.

He will benefit from the additional support up front.

Its all he needs to do. But obviously he offers a lot more than just goals in games. A pre-season friendly is not where you should expect to see the best of Morelos.
