Bates was a far more solid defender than Alves or Martin have been this season. I'm thinking we need to give Rossiter a run in the Sheep game to see if he can play DM. We don't seem to have anyone else who will be effective against the Hivs midfield, which we know will be set up correctly to pressure us by popcorn teeth.
