Mentioned this in the other thread but I’m in NY at the moment and left ESPN news on while doing some work. Suddenly caught my attention that they were talking about Rangers and Steven Gerrard. Say what you like about this appointment (I’ve been against it from day one) but I very much doubt they’d have mentioned McInnes, Neil or Clarke taking the job on US TV.

Honestly, I don't see the Tim's being bothered.

They may get it when we start signing better calibre players.

Oh they are bothered all right, they were the ones who raised it last night when I was with 3 of the dhims.

All the very best Stevie.

Not many people who I would want to do more, grew up idolising him as a player.

I think he's set himself up for an almighty task, I think the board probably should have looked for more experience.

However you cannot deny the positives he brings. You just look at the amount of coverage he's got down south has been apparent.

He always seemed to have a ruthless streak in him. I hope he carries that into his management style in that he won't be taking any shite from weak players or cunty senior management

Is that an official pic or photoshop?

I hope he is successful, will give him my full backing.

Welcome SG to the worlds greatest football club.
