Suddenly caught my attention that they were talking about Rangers and Steven Gerrard. Say what you like about this appointment (I’ve been against it from day one) but I very much doubt they’d have mentioned McInnes, Neil or Clarke taking the job on US TV. I think he's set himself up for an almighty task, I think the board probably should have looked for more experience. However you cannot deny the positives he brings.
