Scary stuff this is how the debt gets to unmanageable levels add in the expected payoffs as well.

I don't think people realise how catastrophic an error the Pedro experiment was. That money expertly spent could have us much closer to the scum and with a squad we could build on. As it is we're further behind and in debt getting there.

To spend what we have on players (Pena, Morelos, Herrera, Cardoso) and finish third genuinely is a shocking failure. Caixinha, in retrospect, makes PLG look like Klopp.

To be fair, it's a Murty/Pedro experiment, you could even lump JN into that.

I think we could have been second if we got a real manager in after Pedro, Murty's inclusion just increased the pain beyond level 10.

Absolutely, I see it as two distinct but related failings:

1) Overpaying for mediocre players
2) Failing to utilise those players correctly

While Pena, Herrera, and Cardoso aren't good enough to win us a title they're at least on par with most of the players Clarke, McInnes, or Levein have to work with, and a semi-competent manager should've strolled to second with our squad.

I think we would have won it TBH with a proper appointment, i said it before Murty was the biggest mistake this season somehow, not Pedro (not that he wasnt a mistake)

Will be a tough job shipping him on wouldn't even look for a fee and just get him off the wage bill. Should of just gone into the bookies with the transfer fee and stuck it on red

Aye we should have.

Cardoso's the one out of those three and Alves I'm most disappointed about.

With what was said about him in Portugal, and the teams that were supposedly interested in him, I thought he could be our first CB that would have EPL clubs after him in a decade.
