When Izaguirre first joined celtic he was constantly attacking and ran riot in Scotland eventually lifting the POTY in this country. He couldn't defend worth a fuck but it didn't matter because his team were always on the front foot and never sat back. Here in Scotland we should look to dominate possession and attacking full-backs who can make things happen in the final third are going to be key. In an ideal world we would run a 3-5-2 system and not put too much pressure on John or Tavernier from a defensive point of view but rather let them be our width shuttling up and down the park. Other like Pena, Herrera, Alves, Halliday, Hodson, MOH, Forrester and Dodoo might be more difficult to move on especially if they are on decent money here they may just opt to run their contract down (or wait for that compensation payout from the club). Mark Allen had better be a good salesman as well as having an eye for talent if we want to give the manager a clean slate to work with.
