Popular Post Brian Fantana 28,894
We all have our opinions divided on our most recent managerial positions but i think a thanks is due to Grame Murty and Jimmy Nicholl. They have been placed in a position far from ideal but at least they took the reigns when the board failed in their duties (again) to appoint a decent manager. Murty may not have lived up to perceived expectations but at least he gave it his best and Jimmy produced one of the greatest comebacks - and downfalls - in yesterdays game. I wish them all the best and hope Murty stays on as youth coach, a little wiser and more attuned to the pitfalls of first team management. elliotblu, Bluekev, terry739 and 2 others
Popular Post BlueSuedeSambas 53,548
There’s no way Murty can stay on, even with the youths. He has the stink of failure on him now. We need a clean break from him completely. Lloyd, theredhandofNewcastle, BridgeIsBlue and 3 others
Popular Post RFC55 107,794
He didn't give it his best. He had played the tarriers 3 times. Lost 1 drew 2. We should have arguably won all 3 of the games. He then changed for whatever unknown reason in the semi and embarrassed us. He's not Walter Smith and can't do the curveball the way he could as Walter actually knows what he is doing. Murty cut his own throat. Best wishes to Jimmy nic right enough who rumour has it tried to tell murty were it was going wrong but he didn't listen. No. He was in the running for the job until the disastrous two weeks where his own decisions cost him. He killed his own chances nobody else. It wasn't forced upon him he could've said no. The board deserve blame for offering him it. However like ally even under the old players with almost full blown HIV being sent up here boards don't pick players or make "brave" decisions like throwing haliday into midfield against the papes. Managers make the decisions. He tucked it and deserves to go and not be anywhere near the club. Not good enough and thankfully this is over now. He realised his mistake and changed it and we went in 3 3 so aye it was a massive decision that he got right after making a cunt of it. ritchieshearercaldow 22,011
I can’t thank a man for bringing humiliation on our club, Murty was totally out of his depth and should never have accepted the job in any full time capacity. I do thank him for stepping into the breach when Pedro got the bullet.

The players on the park let him down. Yesterdays flaw was playing Goss to begin with... but corrected that and praise due.

Dazzler 2,428
Murty has oversaw two of the worst old firm games I've ever watched. He just doesn't get it. Suited to the championship where being mid table is acceptable.

Dickie 12,905
Any manager who thinks Halliday is a full back deserves sacking. bombaybadboy08 15,660
He can get to fuck, talk about tarnishing the reputation we have for strong, steely managers and he not only refuses to change what isn’t working but he also nearly has a nervous breakdown on live tv.
